Change date in Newsletter calendar

The calendar date in the Newsletters shows as follows: 12th march 2021. 

This is not nice for localised websites. It should adapt to the language or if not, be possible to change its visibility in the common settings with alternatives like: 12/03/2021 for our American friends 03/12/2021 or also 12/03/21 and 03/12/21. I think this is easy to implement and would make it perfect.
